Profile

Samantha Riley is still ‘queen of the pool’ to the children she teaches. Sam Riley Swim Schools are the business success that grew from Sam’s continuing devotion to swimming and the well-known dedication she offers to everything she does.

In the pool Sam Riley was dominant from 1993 to 1997 in her specialist breaststroke event. She holds a Medal of the Order of Australia and was Queensland and Australian Sportsperson of the Year in 1994. In the community, Sam is the ambassador for Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia’s Keep Watch drowning prevention programme.

Neither time nor the medals and honours of her sporting success have faded the grace and likable nature of the girl-next-door who became one of Australia’s most popular swim champions.
